Better We Bangla Supplementary School – About Us

Our Language, Our Identity, Our Pride

The Better We Bangla Supplementary School is a vibrant and welcoming learning space where children and young people from Greater Manchester come together to learn Bangla language, explore their cultural heritage, and build confidence in their bilingual identity.
Established in 2022, our school now supports 35 registered students, with an average of 26 children attending every week. Classes are held every Saturday from 11am–1pm — the heart of the local Bangladeshi community and a safe, accessible space for families.
Our dedicated team of 3 experienced teachers, 1 teaching assistant and 1 volunteer deliver engaging lessons that focus on speaking, reading and writing Bangla through fun, interactive activities. Children enjoy modern teaching tools such as the interactive whiteboard, alongside traditional resources, storytelling, creative worksheets and games.
